I first shared about this on Instagram in 2018, and people still mention how much they love it.
Here’s the tip: Instead of freezing your bagels in their natural sandwich-y position, stack the tops and bottoms so they’re facing the same direction. Cut-side facing the same direction. Like a little bagel tower.
Why? Because when you’re half-asleep and just want a toasted bagel without wrestling it apart like it’s glued together with ice, this method lets them pop apart so easily. No knives. No broken bagels. No drama.
And be sure to get as much air out of the bag as possible.
